Jeri is recognized nationally and internationally for reviving Caddo Pottery. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama selected her bottle “Intertwining Scrolls” for permanent display in the White House Oval Office. A major honor for the self-taught potter, who uses techniques and tools her ancestors would have used. Hand coiled, stone burnished, engraved then wood fired, each pot is unique and traditional. And always her inspiration comes from research of ancient styles and designs from Caddo people 500 years ago.Jeri Redcorn's bottle, "Intertwining Scrolls", in the oval office, Nov. 2009.
